M\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os de experiencia profesional en el mundo de la consultor\u00eda en el \u00e1rea de sostenibilidad, habiendo trabajado en consultoras como PwC, G-Advisory (anteriormente\u00a0 denominada Garrigues Medio Ambiente) y Grupo Galgano. Durante estos a\u00f1os, he trabajado con clientes del sector p\u00fablico y especialmente en el sector privado, en empresas nacionales y multinacionales de m\u00faltiples sectores (asegurador, construcci\u00f3n, energ\u00e9tico, consumo y distribuci\u00f3n, industrial, servicios, real estate y agroalimentario).<\/p>\n

Siempre he cre\u00eddo que la sostenibilidad\/ESG aporta valor a\u00f1adido en la gesti\u00f3n de las compa\u00f1\u00edas. Por tanto, desde el comienzo de mi carrera profesional, mi foco ha estado en el desarrollo de proyectos que ayuden a las empresas a ser m\u00e1s sostenibles, creando valor para sus empleados y el entorno en el que operan (medio ambiente y sociedad). Actualmente contin\u00fao desarrollando este tipo de proyectos, desde la perspectiva de direcci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de equipos como Directora del \u00e1rea de Medio Ambiente y Sostenibilidad de Euro-Funding.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Our Due Diligence report for Suma Capital shows the current situation and the path that Berria Bike S.L. will now have to follow with Suma Capital to improve its positioning in sustainability.\u00a0

Suma Capital enters the bicycle industry with Berria Bikes, a company from Castilla-La Mancha founded in 2012 by former Spanish-Swiss professional cyclists David and Jos\u00e9 Vitoria. Through the mid-sized venture fund SC Growth II, the Barcelona-based private equity firm has taken a 49% stake in Berria in a combined buyout and capital increase deal that has been closed for approximately \u20ac15 million.

Following the agreement with Suma, Berria will create a six-member board of directors, 50\/50 between the Vitoria brothers and the management company, which frames this operation as part of its commitment to sustainable investments. According to Manuel Cebri\u00e1n, partner of the firm, Suma Capital will provide the company with “human and material resources to maintain healthy growth both organically and through acquisitions and by implementing the best financial, organisational and environmental practices”.

Omega Financial Partners and G\u00f3mez-Acebo y Pombo have advised Berria on the transaction, while Suma Capital has been advised by KPMG, PwC Strategy, Euro-Funding and Bufete Castilla Abogados.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
